Looked much better before, now it looks like the cheaper jugs like supertech or peak? Now they all look like pennzoil yellow bottle, im gonna be second guessing myself all the time if i got the right jug. I feel like this is a step in the wrong direction but we'll see.
Running wix xp in 3 hondas 1 acura tl type s, 1 mitsubishi pickup, 1 2014 scion tc, and before i could get them at oreillys i would get them from napa as the platinum, never had a problem, top notch filter in my opinion.
Interesting , usually you need atleast the front before cat sensors to get closed loop operation, how its doing that without one sounds like a glitch or im just misinformed.
Just buy a 51356,it used to be the part number for hondas for the longest, i never had a problem with the 4 hondas i maintain using that one, it has bigger oil inlet holes if that makes a difference.
Oil cooler will make the biggest difference and a readily top shelf 5w30 synthetic to run year round would be my plan. You dont want to over think it but Id definitely keep an eye on oil consumption.
Been using "no touch tire shine", im actually quite impressed with it , its more of a cleaner and leaves a nice satin finish with no sling or mess on the rims.
Why is there not more talk about this oil, its available at most walmarts, looks like a pretty stout oil.the technical data sheets indicate pour point at -51c on all grades which is pretty interesting, its also api sn gf5 resource co serving, wish there was a noack % but pennzoil took them all...
Just use 5w20 synthetic , a 0w20 is synthetic by default a 5w20 synthetic will give near indentical results unless it gets below a certain temperature . If anything the 5w20 version of a oil is more shear stable and will have lower noack volatility due smaller viscocity spread.
Now if youre...
