    Buffer or hand action?

Porter cable for buffing and polishing. Orbitals won't burn paint unless you're really stupid and let it sit there for a few minutes. But actually removing paint swirls would be way too time consuming by hand. Sometimes if I'm lazy I put a terry bonnet on and use it for removal too. But Zaino...

Anyone have CLEAR film ("tint") on windshield?

The Pinnacle may or may not be more expensive. You'd have to call and find out. IIRC, your BMW will need felt on the bottom seals. Silly BMW, the bottom gasket has two sweeps and the top one is nice and soft and the bottom one is hard rubber. I guess if I had paid attention you list your car...

    Glass cleaner w/ Rain repellent

I cried when AMSOIL discontinued their Rain Clear product. Now I use Zaino Z5 on my glass. Lasts about 5 weeks on the windshield, lasted all winter on the side windows. It's a synthetic sealant instead of wax. PPG Aquapel works well, but Rain Clear was a lot more affordable.

Anyone have CLEAR film ("tint") on windshield?

Well, I tested some waxes today.....they do nothing to stop UV light from penetrating glass. LOL. Before, it passed 89%~90%, and after it passed 89%~90%. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCyh1yOtq4c I guess I could try 303 on glass.

Anyone have CLEAR film ("tint") on windshield?

As a professional window tinter, I recommend against it. It's illegal and there's always the risk the water during the installation is going to fry something behind your dash. Plus it opens you up to civil liability in case of an accident. If you wear polarized sunglasses you're in for a treat...

    AMSOIL's Briteside Rain Clear alternative?

Since rain-x is a wax, I can see how it could create a problem. But AMSOIL's product was top-notch and one of my favorite things they sold. So that's why I'm trying to find an alternative product.

    AMSOIL's Briteside Rain Clear alternative?

I've never had a glare problem and I've been using it for 5 or 6 years. Maybe you just didn't wipe it off well enough.

    AMSOIL's Briteside Rain Clear alternative?

Hey guys, long time no see. Now that AMSOIL has discontinued BriteSide rain clear, what should I use? I don't care for Aquapel's price. Rain-X just doesn't work as well as the Rain Clear did.
