I did have a used starter in the car that worked out well. Purchased from Ebay from salvage yard co that supposed to have had 69,000 miles; it did look in great shape and worked fine. It was an original Denso.

I forgot about this post. I sold my car June of this year so had the Remy alternator a little over 2 years and no issues.

I purchased a new remy alternator Feb of last year from rock auto (part # 94121) so coming upon a year. There are not many days that I do not use my car. This thread concerns me that my alternator may take a dirt nap soon. If it does, I will post it here. Thanks for posting your experience Elroy.
