M1 runs more smoothly than Amsoil in Honda V6 new car. This is from my own experience. Oil consuption is also less with M1 and Amsoil.

I used both AMsoil S2K 0W30 and M1 0w20 on my new Honda V6. I find that the engine idles obviously more rough( more vibration) with AMsoil oil than the M1. Any explanation? More vibration mean more wear? Thanks Dan

I changed my Honda factory-filled oil at 3000 mile. The manual recommends to keep the oil at least 5000 mile. What should i do to make up the possible damage to the engine due to my early change. What kind of oil have the similar function as Honda's factory-filled oil? Thanks
