hello, I’m confused about cvt oil type I need in a 2019 subaru outback 3.6R. I found a chart on website asking for CVT-HT orange color.
my dealer sold it oil only in 5 gallons jug.
too much for my oil change.
they ask $525CAD +tx for cvt service.
I’m sure I can do it my-self cheaper than...

anyway, to buy peace in mind, I’ll finally fill my front differential with a quality brand gl-5 75w90. I’m done!

I think 75w90 gl-5 will be the correct choice because subaru extra MT fluid maybe a gl-5 grade but I’ve no more info about this mysterious fluid not available from dealer.
