Powerstroke 6.0 engine: What does CK-4 mean for me

Odds are that most who own a 6.0 are their own warranty at this point in time...so take your pick. There's always going to be a manufacturer who will make an older spec that will be easy to acquire.

FYI - Amsoil's lineup of the new certification

I'm liking the fact they finally got on board with a 0W40 diesel. It's pretty common up here, but I've heard some folks south of the 49th mention it being difficult to find. I think I will be trying it.

Delo vs. Rotella vs. Delvac for 12-Valve Cummins

Do you have KDP done? If not....worry less about the oil, and more about that. Originally Posted By: clintonhutson Hey guys, I have read multiple topics on this, and I think I've came to the conclusion that you can run any of these oils and you will never have an oil-related problem. I am...

Delo 400 Multigrade... 275 ppm Moly

Even Delo 400 CJ4 looks deadly...that recent VOA on pqiamerica showed really well...with numbers like that almost makes Delo multigrade a non issue

    '11 Ford F350 6.7L / Schaeffer's 5w40 / 7,018 mi

I'm fond of T6, but look at the add pack in that 9000...awesome. I've got two cases at home, great stuff. Nice uoa.

    engine oil stock 5.9 cummins

With that many kms on it, if it were mine I would run 10w30 winter and 15w40 rest of the time. My 2001 has 415000 km's on it, and I run whatever 10w30 diesel CH4 and up I can find with Baldwin BD7317 all year long...and its modded

    Recomendations!

CP3 pumps do not require anything above or beyond what we get from the pumps. I would not bother. IMO the only dodge Cummins that "need" 2 stroke are 98.5-02's...unless you have a p pump of course.

    Amsoil AMO 10-40w, 02 Cummins ISM, 4500 mile/24 mt

This is great news for me to know on my 2006 Dodge 3500/Cummins. I installed PCO close on two years ago and now I only drive her in fair weather...She really doesn't see the light of day most times, just sits in my garage all rustproofed, clean, waxed and every piece of rubber I can find hit...

Will trace amount of coolant at bottom of pan evap

Next time you do any engine work where oil and coolant meet, use the the cheapest Supertech oil you can find, and then dump it after a short period.

Big no no..... goes back to 1985

I'm sure I could get my with PCMO in my 12 valve. Last uoa showed 0 for soot...not sure the measuring parameters they used...but zero is still zero!

Seafoam effect on Rotella T6 viscosity

    I don't think T6 needs any help.

    Rotella T6 5w-40 ok for '99 Cummins 24v?

I'm running some of the old CI4 RTS I acquired in my travels in my 98 12V...good stuff. 7K is probably conservative for anything 98-02, unless you are running modified.
