    07 Yukon Denali w/6.2L w/ 180+k mi; 6.3k miles on Amsoil ASM 0w-20

Jetman I think you stumbled into the right Oil for your Denali. Your wear numbers look good, and you've got plenty of TBN left. I like your incremental approach Good Luck

How bad do you let your tires get?

Safety 1st I run my Michelin Defender's down to 50%, which is 6/32'nds and 75k miles. Then I sell them on Craigslist for $275-300

Thanks for the report. It's great to see you trying different weights of Oil. This report is another example of how hard these Turbos are on Oil. Lots of TBN left, but the Oil sheared out of Grade

    2021 F-150 2.7L EB - M1 5W-30 - 10,040km

SupraSteve Since you're not looking for extended drain intervals and are content with 10k kilometer uoa's, I would switch to some different brands of synthetic. These Ecoboost motors are known for shearing Oil out of Grade. Your 2.7L EB was no exception. I'd like to see what Amsoil SS, High...

Michelin Defender LTX/MS after 40,000 miles

I've sold takeoffs with 75k on (4) different occasions for $275-$325 in (3) different states on Craigslist. The tires normally have a little <6/32nds of tread depth. Over time I've determined that this is the "sweet spot" for selling used Michelin's. I currently have 342k miles on my current...

My Quest For The Best Oil on the Planet

Navi I'm currently Testing a 2016 Ford F-150 3.5L Ecoboost for 1 of my Kids. I did a 5k UOA back in February. I felt the oil had a lot left to offer. I should have a 10k UOA in October. If all goes well, I'll step up to a 12.5k UOA

Michelin Defender LTX/MS after 40,000 miles

I just got back from a Road trip and thought I'd make this Post. For me it's another Ho Hum Observation, but maybe not for others on the Board. I purchased these tires 16 months ago, and they have 40,300 miles on them The tread depth is 9/32nds of an inch. When New, they start at 12/32nds of an...

    Jeep Wrangler tires recommendations

In December of 2015 I bought a set of BFG KM2's for my Daughter's 2012 Wrangler. We upgraded to 285/70/17 tires. Those tires got her thru High School College, and now in the working world. Those Tires have been Awesome!
