Who's making Harvest King oil these days?

Yeah, the one in my town opened in an old Kmart building. That seems to be their preferred business model, opening up in shuttered box stores like Kmart and Walmart. It's one of my favorite stores to visit, quite a good selection of " guy stuff"!

Who's making Harvest King oil these days?

Runnings Stores carry it as their house brand. (To those that aren't familiar, Runnings is like a Tractor Supply on steroids, about 2-3 times the size of TSC. Mostly located in Northern states from Montana to New Hampshire)

Who's making Harvest King oil these days?

Anyone know who currently makes Harvest King oil? I remember at one point it was Citgo but I seem to remember it was being made by someone else more recently.

    Another good looking Microgard Select

Yes, same oil and filter went on/in again.

    CSMoto

Don't be super worried about the 1/4 throttle break in. It's hard to keep them moving with any speed with that amount of throttle. I wouldn't advise long periods of wide open throttle, but I also wouldn't worry about going to half or 3/4 throttle to get going. Just drive it gently the first...

    CSMoto

I have a 21 CF moto Cforce 600 touring (2 up ATV) I bought new in March of 21. It's been a great machine, no issues or break downs. Mines been a multi purpose machine, a mix of trail riding, hauling firewood with a trailer and deer hunting. It's really exceeded my expectations. A comparable...

    2021 CF MOTO CForce 600 recommendations - 1st ATV

Yes, my 21 has a cat.

    Another good looking Microgard Select

These Microgard selects have really become my filter of choice lately. This one was on my 2014 Nissan Altima 2.5 for 10 months and 10k miles. Part number MSL51358. Even pleat spacing, adbv was still soft and pliable. Oil used was Amsoil Signature Series 0w30. Car and engine had 175k miles and no...

Box Store Riding Mowers in 2024

I've tinkered with many mowers over the years. I maintain mowers for a lot of family and friends. When it comes to box store mowers, I like the John Deere's the best. They are designed pretty well, and for just residential grass mowing will last quite a while. They are pretty easy to maintain...

New lawn mower blades don't seem very sharp

Years ago, I talked with a Rep from John Deere. The way he explained it, if you sharpen your blades razor sharp, the cutting edge will be very thin and fragile and will dull and chip easily. If you sharpen at a less aggressive angle, the cutting edge is thicker and will hold it's edge a long time.

    Trail Ridden ATV OCI

I'd change it once a year. Amsoil and most all atv manufacturers recommend an oil change annually, regardless of mileage. Moisture is probably a real concern, and after a year, it is likely TBN is depleted. I do my engine oil and filter and gear oil in the diffs annually on my atv's.

303 yellow bucket good enough for my needs?

The yellow bucket tractor fluid is so sketchy there is a class action lawsuit over it. It's just not worth the gamble. The best if it might barely meet an ancient obsolete standard. The worst of it doesn't even come close to meeting standards even for older tractors. In my town I can get Harvest...

    Auto parts commercial accounts

I've been working on dealership parts for going on 21 years in northern NY. We often need to use aftermarket parts for things like used car repairs for off brands, emergency repairs when parts aren't in stock, or older cars where customers need lower prices part options. We use Auto Value most...

Which would you choose John Deere stx38 or jd gx85

I bought a used STX38 for my dearly departed Grandmother's house. My brother and I mowed her place for years with it. She had a large yard and it was really too small of mower for the yard, but it was dependable , ran great, and mowed very nicely. That Kohler is a great engine, the only trouble...

    Neighbor gave me a generator!

Nice gift! It looks like a "Chonda", a Chinese clone of a Honda GX series engine. I've got a few on various OPE and they have been great engines. I would concur with using a HDEO 15w40 in a hot climate. I'm in a moderate to cool area of Northern NY, and I have used Amsoil 10w30 small engine oil...
