Why would I dump any oil at 15 hours? Engine has full pressure oil system with a filter. 50 hours at least being conservative. I typically only put around 40-50 hours on the tractor per year, so I don't mind spending the money on good oil for a once a year oil change.

I plumbed a garden tractor with Tygon. I probably wouldn't bother again. It has shrank some and gotten hard. I'd use it again for the in tank pickup line, but for the rest of the system I'd just use black rubber fuel line from Gates or Goodyear.

A Toyotacare service is more than an oil change. They are rotating your tires, checking your lights, checking your air and cabin filters and topping off all your fluids as well. They might have been running a little slow, but I find that service typically runs about 45 minutes.

In the Northeast, it's not uncommon to see steel brake lines rusted through on 8-10 year old vehicles.

I believe the Champ XL was between $5-6 Microgard Select was around $8 Microgard Select is what went back on both Nissans and is my preference going forward.

I was running a Microgard Select on my other Nissan that takes the same filter. While both filters held up great, the Microgard had significantly taller media.
