Inspections here in Virginia are inconsistent and arbitrary. The fee is $20 and the list of items to check is long. If a shop performs an honest, thorough inspection they're losing money. The local shop I take my vehicles to does 500+ inspections per month. They have 3-4 mechanics and only one...
I have a few of them (no XLs, though). Life changing. :ROFLMAO:
IMO, the best value is to buy one of their kits.

Sounds like it has the XREAS suspension (red shocks). The high quote is in line with a 4 corner replacement of that system. That said, you can replace it with conventional shocks (ie, much cheaper).
A few years ago, I had a guy order a (new Denso) starter for me from WorldPac. Even with him adding a few $$ for himself, it was cheaper than anywhere else and I got it that day (vs waiting for shipping).
I got mine from AutohausAZ. It was $40 + shipping. Advance has the Aisin listed for $140 and this NPW for $80.
$40+shipping (y)
Earlier in the thread (last year), someone posted a link to a Honda dealer selling the pump for $95. I'd have probably just bought that one...but it's doubled in...
Pretty sure someone earlier in the thread posted something lower, but mine is a 2.25% 15 year that I refinanced in October 2020. Very fortunate to have such a rate. Hoping to have it paid off by the time I'm 50 (7 years).
I'm hearing a little noise coming from the accessory drive area my TSX. I swapped the bearing on the tensioner pulley, which was definitely on the way out, but it wasn't the noise I was hearing. Thinking back to this thread and the short lived Aisin pumps. ~40k on it at this point. Again, we'll...
I've owned two 2nd gen Sequoias. Big, boring, and reliable. 2013 Platinum and 2019 Platinum. No issues with either. Currently have the '19 with 55k on it.
I had a '21 Tahoe and a '22 Yukon XL. Really enjoyed them both. We put 14k trouble free miles on the Tahoe and 10k on the Yukon. My wife wanted to get back to a Sequoia, so that's what we've had for the past couple years. I really liked the power of the 6.2 (both had the L87) paired with the 10...
