    Stocking Up On Motor Oil

My post was about walking into the store and buying oil. But you make a great point.. I never set foot in Costco, gas is different and you're not actually in the store, and Amazon isn't a store, so. I'll make a note to look at the price ONLINE at Walmart vs Amazon, though...

    Stocking Up On Motor Oil

Honestly, Amazon and Costco are becoming the go-to places to buy oil, in the case of Costco it's a different label of Warren slop as to Kirkland vs Supertech. I already enjoy the slightly lower price of Costco gasoline. I've got a stash that has me stretching my oil change intervals to the...

Oil Strategy To Prevent Carbon Piston / Ring Deposits ?

I was going to suggest, driving it like you stole it and Italian Tune-Ups (go full throttle about once every trip, if possible) should keep deposits from being formed. I hope the suggestion is to use Shell, in the appropriate octane for the car, not Premium (93 Octane) for everything...

Are your driving plans changing due to fuel costs?

Yes. The logic would be that the price per barrel is the lowest in a very long time and, Well the price you're seeing is reflective of how fast prices are go up but slow to come down....

Are your driving plans changing due to fuel costs?

No, not changing. $3.59 a gallon It's still too high but it's better than it was. Gas should honestly be in the $2 a gallon range but good luck with that.

Why haven't gas prices gone down?

They have gone down recently. Seems contradictory to world events but I'll take it. Apparently the crude oil that makes gasoline is coming in from a different direction and ships are making u-turns. But I can't go into that too much.
