Hmm, ok.....I get what you're saying about the stripes disappearing in the 90s but the AcDelco still remained right? I thought that by only seeing the "AC" on my plugs, they were before AC merged and became AcDelco which had to of been earlier than the 90s or even 80s right? I am just guessing...
Thanks. I looked up when resistor spark plugs came out and I was seeing in the 60s so that definitely narrows it down. It's funny I was actually looking at that forum you linked before I made this post. Nothing about not having the 4 green lines but still cool nonetheless.
Not sure if this is the right place to post this but I'm curious as to when the AC spark plugs that didn't have the four green rings around them were made? I know some had them and some didn't. I've seen one ebay post showing a set of no green ring AC spark plugs from the 50s. I have these...
Does anyone have any guesses to how old this filter might be? I don't know Big A too well so I don't know if they made in styling changes in their logo. Maybe 1980s?
Oh ok. I have a filter from my 49 Plymouth that might be 80s or 90s? Not too sure. I wonder if there was a certain point that they started putting their A logo next to the "Big" and not below?
Yeah that's what I was thinking to. I found this ad on ebay of some old SMP plug wires that claim to be "vintage" and "nos". The boots look like the same. Tried to look for a date on the box but couldn't find anything.

These set of plug wires were on my 49 Plymouth. Trying to diagnose how old they are. Just curious. I posted somewhere else and someone was thinking 90s? Anyone have any guesses? Obviously have replaced them, just trying to date them. I know they're Standard plug wires. Kind of a shot in the dark...
It says Steel Belted Radial on the side. It also says P215/75R15.
Also there is a safety warning label and something else that says TPC Spec. No. 1034.
I measured the width of the white wall and it seems to be 1 1/4 inches.
I'm guessing it's from 1983? I was reading a article on the Coker tire...
I just got a 1949 Plymouth a few months ago with Uniroyal white wall tires on it. I think they also say Steel belted radial. I'm trying to figure out what year or around what year they are. The width of the white wall seems to be about an inch and I think that didn't start happening until 1962...
