Its not that i dont want to learn carbs, is that i need to move the car 800 miles and its much easier to transport if it runs onto the transport. I plan to rebuild them, again because they rebuilt not long ago, and get the car AFR / dyno tuned for the elevation i live at.

These carbs were completely rebuilt not long ago but im afraid they have sat probably 2-3 years with fuel in them. Dont think my dad used non-E fuel either. Think this may work? I could try that if the car started lol. It almost did yesterday but we decided to stop after finding both carbs leaking.

Really, hmm that sounds doable. BUT i know nothing about carbs lol, im an EFI kid. Ill look around for some info on that. Do i replace those or just clean em. The carbs seemed to be leaking from the edges where the all over tho. Top down, sides, bottoms lol.

Well the fuel issue may have to wait. Went to try to get it going today and both carbs are leaking all over the place. Gonna see if i can find an on the self modern carb replacement for it. Its much easier to move back home if she runs. Whats the go to forum for these cars? Heres a few quick pics!

What about fuel? Ive found non-ethanol fuel on the pump but its 90 octane, i know they were designed to run pump with the 10.25:1 but thinking 90 maybe too low. Also they need leaded and thats MUCH harder to come by. Reading around on the web has been less than conclusive if the additives...

Thinking of 3 qts edge HM ti 10w-40 with 3 qts of Rotella t5 10w30. Both have very strong ad packs. I dont want to waste an expensive oil like this edge for low mileage....thoughts?

haha this is very true. i do go through vehicles very fast and always got something to throw it in.
