Well when I went out to it today and started it up first thing, when I put it in drive it worked fine. However I drove it to town and put it in park to cut it off, when I put it back in drive it didn't move just like before.
Reverse works perfectly. What is the best additive to put in after I drop the pan and change out the filter? And does this model Ford spec original Mercon (in which case I will use dex/merc) or Mercon V?
Neither one have shown themselves since I have had it. I know valve body gasket issues plague these trucks but it seems odd to me for that to be bad because it shifts perfectly from 1st through 4th, once you put it in 1 to get it moving.
