QSUD 5w-20 SN VOA Test Results

Transferring from other thread... Thanks again someguy, and appreciate the kind words. So, what do you drive? I still get the thumbs up from time to time, always respond with a thumbs up. One of the more interesting encounters was a guy on a motorcycle that followed me off of 183 all the way...

    Mobil 1 15W50 SM VOA

Disturbing that the SM version is so much better than the SN version. Please don't tell me I'm going to have to hunt for only the SM version of M1 15W-50... :\ http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/forums/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2365764#Post2365764

Wow, a huge difference from the SM report for Zinc/Phos levels. What in the world?...

    GC vs. M1 0w40 visco

Thanks, really interesting comparison. I've been thinking about using some of the GC for my winter fill, especially since I have a stockpile of the stuff!

GC - Good replacement for M1 0W-40 in Nissan GT-R?

Yep, looks like it. There is still a question of whether or not "metal particulates" in the tranny oil that wefordus even witnessed are of actual concern. Two reasons for this... 1, this is the main marketing push from a tuner shop that is aggressively promoting his aftermarket tranny oil... and...

GC - Good replacement for M1 0W-40 in Nissan GT-R?

A fellow GT-R owner in Texas was nice enough to post his Blackstone analysis of both the engine and transmission oil at 6007 miles. From what I understand, he's a spirited driver with a few minor track visits (specifically mentioned he did NOT track the car heavily). Both oils are...

Yeah, you can't beat good old American muscle for straight line. The Cougar is also pretty famous for high power if I'm not confusing things... same engine as that old school Eclipse where people were getting over 1000 HP right? Which brings me back to why I'm not into drag... love the circuit...

GC - Good replacement for M1 0W-40 in Nissan GT-R?

2 wheels at 480HP, even with slicks, would have a hard time launching a 3800+ lb car from 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. Gonna need AWD for that. Yeah, I doubt that the transmission would last with consecutive 5k launches with 500+whp even if it is a RWD car. You're going to need some STOUT tranny...
