    Can anyone explain why most motorcycle oils are based on partially synthetic or even mineral oil? Are there any other advantages than the cheaper price compared to fully synthetic oils?

    GN4 is Not the same as the pro Honda 10W30. Here in Germany we have the same bottles from pro honda.

    Yes, but my Engine oil analysis was from the JASO MA 10W30, but the Name is the same, Pro Honda engine oil.

    The noack you can see in the technical Data sheet, 6.0 by 5w40, 3.7 by 10W40.

    For me not such tests not meaningful. However, the specifications of the Liqui Moly oil are absolutely up to date, plus low Noack and at the beginning of a sae40 oil.

    So the Honda branch has done the very great service. Oil, engine coolant, air and pollen filter, brake fluid and spark plugs were new. The valve play had to be adjusted, it was too tight. Possibly the last dealer had carried out the adjustment incorrectly. Now I don't have any speed fluctuations...

    I think this is one of the biggest private long-term tests with always the same oil at 500k kilometres. Next week we will submit the compression measurement of the engine. From mileage 20k only Mobil 1 New Life / FS 0W40 was used, also when refilling oil!
