Most of the time I run stock boost levels. The +9 is tied with Sport mode and even then I generally don't push it, particularly in the summer. I think most of the excess fuel dilution this run was due to all the short trips :|
2018 Honda Civic Si
38,573 miles on car
3,039 miles on oil (Super Tech 5W-30)
3,039 miles on oil filter (NAPA Gold)
9,790 on air filter (NAPA Gold)
+ 9psi over stock tune
LOTS OF SHORT TRIPS
Posting mainly as a courtesy to the community but this seems to be a really good match although I'm going...
Note: Car has had two different +6 psi tunes during this interval
Sample 4: This sample Redline 0w-20 (New NAPA Gold Oil and Air Filters)
Sample 3: Redline 5W-30
Sample 2: Redline 5W-30
Sample 1: Mobil1 0W-20
Mainly posting this as a courtesy, I don't drop by here much
Prior Sample
Car shifts perfectly fine.
The older Honda MTF had a similar viscosity to the Redline MTL so there really isn't that much of a difference.
The Redline is a 75W80.

Also look at the viscosity of AFE 0w30 compared to the almost VII free RL.
Note: The AFE is 0W-20, not 0W-30
Note: FP Plus at usual dose.
Note: BL is the virgin sample of the oil.
Note: It's hard to compare some of these samples due to the change in driving due to my work situation the past couple of months. The sample prior to this was on extremely short trips during the summer.
Sample 1 was with...
2018 Honda Civic SI 6 Speed Manual Transaxle
11,635 on oil - Redline MTL
18,285 on unit
Note: BL is the virgin sample
Note: First and second fluid changes were done nearly back to back so there shouldn't be too much residual silicon at this point.
I'm running this in really hot weather at the moment. I actually don't have any worries about it. With it being a manual I usually keep the revs above 2k at least with little load.
I haven't noticed any type of detonation either while driving or reviewing the onboard logs, either under light...
