    Losing 1 qt per 3000 miles - 2002 MGM

Thanks guys. I think I bought a bottle of M1 HM 5w20. I'll try that first and work my way along the suggestions posted here. I know that 1 qt per 3000 miles is not that much, but it still bugs me.

    Losing 1 qt per 3000 miles - 2002 MGM

My Mercury Grand Marquis has 150,000 miles on it. My OCI is 5000 miles using MC 5w20 mostly and MC filter. For the last 50,000 miles or so I started having to top off a quart every 3000 miles or so. Is there any other type of oil like the higher mileage oils that will either prevent or help...

    G Oil anyone?

It's a little hard to do a search on a single letter - "G". I clicked through 3~4 pages before I started the thread, but thanks for the great input. It sounds like from what I'm reading that as long as the rebate are valid and you get the check in the mail, it's a good deal and a good oil...

2004 and up Sienna or Odyssey

I have a 2005 Ody with 60,000 miles. I have the EX. Since this was the first MY, I bought the extended warranty (online at a steep discount vs at place of purchase). Though I have had no serious issues, I am glad I bought the warranty. It may have had something to do with the MV being the first...

*Video* Busted! 195mph Vette Run Posted On YouTube

Quote: According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol , detectives were emailed a video that showed a man driving a super-charged 1999 Chevy Corvette accelerating at over 190 mph on I-235 and the Kilpatrick Turnpike. From the sound of the blow-off valve, I'd say the Vette was TURBO-charged.

    Best Budget Headlight

You're absoluetly right. They are cheap enough to try. I'll order it and give it a shot. Worst case, I can use the flashlights as flashlights. Thanks.

I buy stuff from them too, but are they bright enough to see by as well as seen by? What the heck. They are cheap, maybe I'll just order it along with some rechargeable AAAs and try em.

Looking for a bike - what brands?

On second thought, I probably should have gotten 100% street tires as I really doubt I'll be getting off pavement. Oh well, more incentive for me to wear the tires out faster by riding on em. Also, I think the frame is Chrome Moly on this bike. Now to find the time to ride.

Looking for a bike - what brands?

Mine is made in Taiwan according to the sticker. And though the frame is made from ChromeMoly (steel) , it feels MUCH lighter than the steel Treks I saw at the same time. I also got a new seat today from the local bike shop. I first got a gel filled seat, but it was too narrow (or my BUT was...

Looking for a bike - what brands?

I finally bought a bike. I went to see a few used Trek bikes, but they were all too big, so as I go to leave, the seller says, "I also have a Gary Fisher". It's a Gary Fisher Rangitoto (?) I ended up paying $120. I should replace the tires/tubes and my big BUT T needs a new seat, but it rides...
