Help me choose a zero turn.

Hustler owner here.... I have a Raptor Limited with the 52" deck and Kohler engine. I cut an acre with some elevation changes and it handles it just fine. The Kohler engine starts like its fuel injected and has never missed a beat. The oil filter is messy to change, no worries about frame rust...

First oil filter you ever bought

When I first started changing oil, I would buy Penske brand oil filters from Kmart. I believe they were made by Wix.... bright yellow paint on the can and I believe they were $1.79 a pop!

    How to find exhaust leak?

Filling the exhaust system with smoke will assist locating the leak(s). You can purchase an affordable automotive smoke machine/leak detector from Amazon/eBay (Auto Tool brand comes to mind). Alternatively- go on YouTube and lookup DIY automotive smoke machine.

    Mobil 1 0w40 Euro Formula- 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10- 3,141mi / 12 months.

I've had this run of M1 0w40 in my truck (8.3L V10, Viper engine) for 3,141 miles and just over one year (stored during winter months). I run the Mopar "Viper" specific oil filter, K&N air filter, and the truck has some mods (headers, exhaust, tune, colder thermostat, etc). This is the OEM spec...

Jeep Soft Top - Can Anyone Tell Me What This Part is Called?

That looks to be the Sunrider pin assembly. It's no longer available by itself from Mopar, but it is available if you purchase a new door surround from them ($121 list). Fortunately, other Wrangler owners have figured a work around with hardware store materials...

Meguiars spray vs liquid ceramic wax

I just finished a coat of Liquid Ceramic Wax last week on my black truck. It does not go on as smooth as let's say, Ultimate Wax, but it buffs off real easy. No worries about staining trim either. Hopefully I'll be able to enjoy the water beading action for the rest of the season.

2014 Dodge Grand Caravan - rear stabilizer bar?

Check the rear brake pads for missing anti-rattle clips. Sounds just like what you are describing. Sometimes they fall off due to rusted retaining tabs and then the rear pads will rattle in the caliper bracket over bumps. Quick test is to drag the brakes (two foot it) over some bumps. If the...

    94 Cherokee 4.0L 223k mi | Penz Plat 5w30 | 5k mi

Thanks guys. I'm happy with the Pennzoil, after being a loyal ExxonMobil fan for years. I actually made the change around the time Mopar dumped Mobil for Sopus, 2009 IIRC. My other 4.0L (Wrangler) is due for a change, it'll receive some Penz HM or Rotella T5 10w30.

    94 Cherokee 4.0L 223k mi | Penz Plat 5w30 | 5k mi

First post after lurking on and off since 2003! Vehicle is my 1994 Jeep Cherokee 4.0L, with 223,000 miles on the original engine. The oil run was through winter, which had a few record-breaking cold days. I use a block heater with a timer so the engine isn't stone-cold for early morning starts...
