Is the work of dealers considered to be a high water mark of protecting a customers investment?

The manual says "Mazda Genuine 0W-20 Oil and Castrol® 0W-20 Oil are required to achieve optimum performance."

It's interesting. On the Mazda forums there's a panic: "if you don't use the Mazda oil your engine will die." And here it's very much "nah you'll be fine".
