My only concern for myself is that my Firebird FORMULA V8 does have a little bit of blow-by and that there is extra ppm of zinc compared to conv/syn 5W/10W 30 or 40. And this could pollute my OE cat.conv. over a period of time.
I typically use 5W30/10W30 however, I have entertained the thought and may want to try a EURO(0W40) oil in the 1980 Firebird FORMULA V8 in my signature(click link below). However, I have also tried/used on occasion over the past 43 years, an HDEO and I like them.
