2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid Milky oil cap

Wow. Very few people care about other people's property these days. (And apparently they're not afraid to tell you about it either). Unbelievable

Wow that's interesting. I took mine in and they drove it, and told me it was condensation. Im going to check my app to see how they drove mine too. I didn't know you could do that! Thanks, and good luck with it in the future

Oil Filter/Drivetrain Issue (Corolla Cross Hybrid)

Ill definitely do that. Too much tech, and too many features these days.

Thanks. I was hoping that was the case. And yes, lesson learned.

Oil Filter/Drivetrain Issue (Corolla Cross Hybrid)

Hi guys. I changed my oil 1k miles ago on my 2024 Cross Hybrid after seeing a milkshake under the oil cap. Thanks for the advice. I heard recently how bad it is to over-tighten the filter, so i decided today to put it on ramps and loosen it a bit considering i recall turning it with the wrench...

It does look ok on the dipstick. I was just surprised to see this after only another 500 miles. I only see a small streak of it in the valve cover area. It seems like whenever i take a car into the dealership, it leaves with another scratch so this is good news. Thanks

2024 Corolla Cross Hybrid Milky oil cap

I just wanted to share an update to see if anyone has any opinions. I drove the vehicle another 500 miles, mainly longer trips. Some were a full hour. The last pics were of 1k miles, but these are of the last 500. Should i still be seeing any foam with the longer rides? Thanks

    Oil seepage question -2013 Ford 3.7 v6

Thanks for the info. I did wipe it down, and as someone suggested I made sure none of the bolts were loose. I did turn a couple of them. After doing that, I read people saying to leave it be, but too late now i guess. Ill keep an eye on it and keep that adhesive in mind as well. Thanks again

    Oil seepage question -2013 Ford 3.7 v6

Thanks. I just wonder how long it can go just slowly seeping. Is there a way to guesstimate how long it will take to really leak? Im assuming it depends on many factors. Thanks

At some point, perhaps you could introduce me to this individual. Lol

    Oil seepage question -2013 Ford 3.7 v6

This area is kind of wet too. I noticed while cleaning it up. For a mint car that was bone dry everywhere last year, this is strange to me.
