    Let's Discuss Televisions

I recently gave up on my 27" CRT and upgraded to a 52" Sharp Aquos. It was a nice treat for myself :)

5 day refund policy at local NAPA

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is an organic brake pad?

    Anyone have weird dreams?

As long as a person is in full REM Sleep that person dreams. The recollection of dreams are what differs from person to person. I go to sleep every night and look forward to the "movie"

2005 Kia Spectra timing belt -- how urgent?

If it wasn't replaced at 60k then the 10year/100,000 mile warranty will not cover the damage in the event that it breaks (and yes these are Interference engines). Some belts break at the 60k mark while others can go double that. By not replacing it she is taking a big gamble. $250 now or a new...

    Belt life expectancy

At five years I would replace all of them for peace of mind. Throw the old ones in the trunk as an insurance policy just in case. I prefer Gates or OEM when it comes to belts.

    Thoughts on Castrol GTX

I use GTX as my "break-in" oil for new vehicles. After that it's too expensive for my liking.

Okay, now you guys have me thinking...

I wouldn't hesitate to use the 0W-30 but I would not drop down to 0W-20 in that engine. I run the 0W-30 in all three cars in the winter. Unfortunately, any mileage increase that I see is offset by winter blend gasoline.

At least 20% of Chrysler dealer's stock is 2008's.

The local Chrysler dealership here still has many 2008 vehicles and even has a brand new 2006 300C SRT-8 on the lot that they are still trying to get $45,000 for.

    Oil Leak Help

There's no magic additive that will fix a leak that bad. However, $2.00 for a quart of oil every two to three weeks is a lot better than a car payment. Keep topping it off and run it until it gives up.

    Recycled motor oil

Even with the free shipping $46 for a case is too much. I would use this without hesitation if it was $30 or less.
