I follow the same premise that I use for ATV engine and gear oil; doesn't matter what you use really, just change it often. I grease after every ride with whatever I pickup at the parts store.

That Raptor will chew the oil to water in no time...
In your case I don't think you'll find a magic bullet. The secret with fuel dilution is to fix the source of the dilution. Then change the oil at at lease half the manufacturers recommended interval after that. never seen and oil hold up to recommended intervals in any powersports equipment...

Just like the title says, should I, or better, would it be a benefit to add moly to a 2007 Ford 6.0L diesel?
I've noticed that HDEO oils do not contain much moly. Is that to meet a certain spec? I know that HDEO oils are often used in wet clutch situations on powersports equipment, used it...
Run anything you like basically. We have a Raptor 125 4-wheeler, same engine. I've run quite a few different oils from ester synthetics to HDEO with no discernible difference from the engine.
I just put this this in my 6.0L Powerstroke. CI-4+, kinda pricey, but should work fine, we'll see, I just came off a 15K run of CJ-4 Delvac 1. When the time comes I'll analyze the oil and compare. I will wait on the...

Same oil, similar engine and nearly double the miles. Keep the oil in, it will last for a long time.
The Rev-X was several OCIs ago, I doubt there's any left in the engine.
I run a Purolator Pure One filter, no bypass filter.
I am getting a little nervous about going this far on oil but I'm trying to let analysis dictate the change interval going forward.
I'm up to 14K miles on this oil now and still looking pretty good.

I use Royal Purple Syncromax in the gear cases and transmissions on my quads and side by sides. Not sure if it'll work with wet clutches, could always email Royal Purple. It makes the transmission on my old Polaris very smooth.
