I was doing a BG EPR flush every 10k-20k miles to keep the low tension rings clean but recently switched to HPL.
My question: is the ester in HPL enough that a solvent oil flush is not needed anymore? Or is still a good idea on occasion?
I also have the Hyundai/Kia 3.8L V6 and used Valvoline 5w30 XL-III for 50k.
