Yes, that was my reasoning for running 0w40, expecting 4-5% dilution but I did change it out for 5w40 this time to see if it will hold up better to the fuel. I plan on sticking to 10k miles intervals.
I’ve tried 87, 89 and 93 over the first 5,000 miles or so but didn’t notice any difference. So I’ve settled on 87 over the last 10,000 miles.
Plan to switch to 93 once I get it tuned.
I drained factory fill at 68 miles and replaced with HPL Supercar 0w40. Then changed oil again at 1,469 miles.
So between 2 prior oil changes I was hoping to get out all of the Motorcraft 5w30 blend before this UOA.
