    Front Suspension Rebuild?

    Lawnmower - No Start

Pull the flywheel and check the Woodruff key. It is non-magnetic [aluminum] and can deform when a rock or root has been struck. It will make the motor very hard to start or not start at all when deformed

Mixing Oils this way...would you do it ?

I wouldn't, but only because of supposed "additive clash" I did buy a drum of QSUD 10w-30 a few years ago. It got used in all of the family's vehicles except motorcycles and my brother-in-law's Ranger that never gets its oil changed. One oil for almost everything. Sometimes I daydream of...

    Ferodo Premier brake pads?

The Ferodos are probably fine for your Jag. They're probably the same as the Wagner WD pads sold here [same company], they seem to work fine. In my family we have a 1999 XJ 4.0 with terrible brake response. I would blame the Jeep before I would blame Ferodo.

How long does a cam belt really last?

The timing belt only lasts as long as the tensioner and idler bearings last. That's why you can sometimes get away with not changing the original belt, but if the belt has already been changed you probably shouldn't risk it because you can't trust the replacement bearings to last longer than the...

    Pricing for a new Harley

Why not search inventories at California dealers and do a long distance deal, then fly out to Cali and ride your new 883 back?

Any Experiences with Armstrong 11-992 ratchet

A few years ago I bought a long handled flex head 1/2" Armstrong for about $70. It took my technicians about 3 weeks to break the cheap pop metal direction lever. We got about 1-1/2 years use out of it after that using a 1/8" screwdriver to change directions. Then the head broke clean in half...

    QSUD

A few years ago I bought a 55 gallon drum of QSUD 10w-30 and used it on numerous cars within the family for 6,000 mi/1 year OCI. As far as I know it was great
