Free-All oil spray with wipe off then Ford PTFE Teflon grease brushed on hinges. wipe all rubber seals with melted coconut oil to keep from sticking in winter. It works well
Was just wondering what opinions people had on throttle response controller to fill in the lag on bigger trucks from drive by wire. Positives and any negative effects from using them long term.
Update.. replaced thermostat for 180deg flushed the system 4 times and car stays at 190 town driving. Drove for 30min and idled for 10min after that and stayed at 205. Takes a couple turns of the key to start but might be the choke and carb needing adjustment or drop the timing a few degrees but...
Put 195deg thermostat in boiling water with a temp gun and at 205 it did open a little but could push it much farther by hand when cool. Gonna try a cooler thermostat to see if it helps at all
Vacuum pulled off manifold port was 16"...ported vacuumed was set right at the needle touching zero..New starter carburetor cleaning and distributor will be done this fall
Right now it's pulling 16" vacuum at 14degrees advance...put shell premium in and the car stopped dieseling after second start and starts every time. Napa Gold filter with Castrol 10w-40 conventional. Oil pressure at idle warm is 20 and 50 when driving
