    Best "gimmick" plugs?

The OP's '07 CR-V came with Denso or NGK iridium plugs. These usually last more than 120,000 miles in the K series engine. Why change?

Chevy Reportedly Issues Stop-Sale Order on C8 Corvette Over Brake-by-Wire Issue

LOL. How about when manufacturers 100 years ago, went from rear brakes only to four-wheel brakes???

    DOT3 vs DOT4 Brake Fluid

No harm to brake effectiveness, but usually a DOT 4 absorbs less moisture (which can rot out metal brake lines) than DOT 3.

Has anyone here tried the Autolite Xtreme Start iridium small engine spark plug?

The Champion J19LM in our B&S mower engine lasted 30 (!!) years. So I replaced it with the same. Always 1 or 2 pulls to start.

Honda Accord 2009 high idle rpm issue

Clean out the throttle body & butterfly. THEN do an Idle Learn Procedure. (Google it) If the RPM drops, great. If not, live with the higher idle.

Any Recomendation on a vehicle for a taller driver.

This was brought up in Car & Driver many years ago. Who remembers Shaquille O'Neal sitting in a Buick? He is 7'1". A Nissan Cube is supposed to have LOTS of stretch-out room.

    Speedometer cable: How to lubricate?

While I've heard many suppliers recommend Lithium grease on cables, I always used a liquid graphite lubricant, like Lock-Ease. The liquid carrier evaporates, and the graphite alone does not attract dirt that could make the cable-core seize or bind. I always dribbled the graphite lube onto the...

Filters for German cars, Mann, Mahle or Hengst?

I bought a Mann filter and they were made in China, just like the AC/Delco I bought for comparison!

    Rotella T6 5w-40 formulation?

If you are unsure, why not just add a ZDDP additive every other oil change? I use CamGuard in our older 1980s sports car: https://aslcamguard.com/product/camguard-oil-additive-automotive-8oz-single-bottle/

‘05 Town & Country 3.8L valve cover gasket replacement

The rear valve cover & plugs on the Chrysler minivans are easily accessible if you remove the wiper cowl. (If it's been a while you may need a small puller to remove the wiper arms). Takes 15 minutes, the second or third time... PS: replace the PCV valve while you are back there.

Great. Now we have to deal with noise-cancelling tires!

Are there any published sound tests showing the reduction in decibels that a foam-filled tire provides? I'm waiting for a retired, 1K a year owner from Florida to have balance issues because the foam disintegrates after 5 years and causes vibration/balance issues....

    Tire plugs or patch?

I use plugs as a first attempt. Successful 98% of the time. The only recent failure was a tire that was actually 'sliced' by road debris, the plug wouldn't seal it. OTOH I've had patches that failed within 100 miles, obviously they were improperly installed. Even on PROPER patch-jobs, I've...
