    Lucas Heavy Duty Oil Stabilizer

My advice is to let her and the boyfriend deal with it. How is this your problem?

St. Louis is dealing with an ice storm this morning... but not very well.

I think geologically they are considered mountains based on how they were formed and how high they would have been 1.5 billion years ago when they were formed.

Post your latest tractor oil change.

*sigh* First almost fist fight traffic incident

Carrying that gun doesn’t make you bullet proof. You made the first aggressive move. Think about that. Your lucky the other guy didn’t go for his.

    Mobil 1 5W/30 EP HM, 4863 miles, 1996 Acura 3.5 RL. 3 Labs

Wow. Given that the same vehicle mileage is shown on all 3 reports, the labs are all over the place. Somehow iron mysteriously disappeared from the Blackstone sample and Magnesium from the Oil Analzyers sample. Just curious, were these all separate samples taken at different point in the oil...

    antique tractor oil

I’ve got a 1952 Farmall Super C. I run Rotella T4 10w30 in it. This oil has HTHS of at least 3.5 and has higher levels of ZDDP for antiwear. If I were to work an antique tractor hard in warm weather I would step it up to a 15w40. Either of these are thicker and higher in ZDDP than typical sae 30...

    2004 Chevy Impala 3.4 Mobil 1 5W30 5.5K OCI. High lead?

The potassium is definitely an indicator coolant has been in the crankcase. It may take a few OCIs to flush out contaminants. If it were mine I would drive it as normal while keeping and eye on coolant levels and do another UOA 1 or 2 OCIs from now Edited to add: I had same engine in a 2003...

Cost Cutting / Filling only to add mark-oil experiments continued--thoughts?!

OP, your whole plan is 2 quarts low! Good luck keeping your employees too. How much is the cleaning bill going to be when they relieve themselves in front of your office because bathrooms are locked?

    Cruze 1.4t

+1 on 93 octane especially in summer. My rule of thumb is 93 degrees outside needs 93 octane in the tank, or the car gets sluggish. When it’s not hot I can get away with 89 though. These observations are from over 250,000 miles on a 2011 Cruze and 56,000 on a 2019.

Hard to find NON synthetic/synthetic blend at Big Box stores

It is thought that many conventional oils in 5w20 and 5w30 have been a synthetic blend for at least a few years now to meet ever increasing performance specs. You have likely already used a blend without knowing it. Think of the blends as a somewhat purer form than conventional of 10 years ago...

    Conventional Gone

I made a trip to Walmart today and noticed the same thing. With the exception of Castrol GTX, all other brands of non-high mileage conventional/synthetic blend were gone. It (non-HM conv/blend) must not sell well enough for Walmart to provide it shelf space. Also dumped 5 gallons of used oil at...

    2018 MAZDA 3 2.5 MaxLife Synthetic new formula 5W-30 5500 MILES

https://pqia.org/valvoline-high-mileage-maxlife-sae-10w-30-synthetic-blend-motor-oil/ This is a newer report for the SP version with moly.

    2018 MAZDA 3 2.5 MaxLife Synthetic new formula 5W-30 5500 MILES

PQIA shows moly in Maxlife red bottle which contradicts the Valvoline rep’s info. Have also seen UOAs of Regular and Maxlife synthetic with moly as well. Maybe the rep was just misinformed or didn’t understand the request. I guess we will know for sure once more reports are posted.
