Why retire Typhoon type 1 jets ?

I wish I was wrong though. On Russian TV they are even talking about having Alaska back. Of course they do not have that capability, but it illustrates the imperialist mindset. Any territory previously held by Russia is desired. Regarding the argument that Russia won't attack Europe, Russia...

Defence spending in Canada coming closer to 2% of GDP

China has also declared itself a near-arctic nation and has plans to establish a polar silk road. China is using Russia to establish a presence in the arctic. They have co-operated on Arctic exploration and resource extraction. Russia has also granted China access to Vladivostok as a domestic...

Defence spending in Canada coming closer to 2% of GDP

Just a few months ago they announced a budget decrease for the CAF so I am very skeptical. As far as I know there is still no plan to reach 2%. There is also a recruitment crisis, which is liked to the housing/cost of living crisis in Canada, and there is no plans to address that.

    DOT 3 in a honda?

It seems too maintenance intensive. I'm guessing it triggers every 30k miles or 3 years. I cover 30k every 2 years. There are some Canada and US differences though. I dont believe the US gets maintenance code 9, which is brake disassembly, cleaning, lubing pins, etc.

    New Tire Confusion

Between those tires I like the LS better. They have asymetrical tread pattern, which is usually better, and 2lbs less weight, which is always nice. They will wear faster, that's the only con, but 700 is a reasonable rating imo. There is nothing wrong with H tires though. I am running H in my...

    New Tire Confusion

It is true when you compare the same tire. Like for my car I can buy a H or V rated Pirelli P7. When you compare different tires then it may not be true because depth is not the only difference.

    New Tire Confusion

Sometimes the exact same tire is sold in both H and V ratings. The V rating tire will have a lower starting tread. So if you want longevity H will be better.

    Fresh Oil filter Every time?

There is a lot of oil remaining in the filter. I change for this reason rather than anything with the media.

    Fail-Pro Gaskets

Last time I bought felpro for a V6, they gave me two gaskets for one bank, and no gasket for the other bank.

    DOT 3 in a honda?

I have a newer one and it seems like 2 years. Could be milage based as well, but I completed 4 years of ownership and it's asking me to do the second change.

    Fresh Oil = Quiet

Oil is cheap, engines are expensive. Even running HPL at 5k OCI is cheap insurance. He's also going DOUBLE the OCI that top engine builders recommend. 2k or 3k, depending on who you ask.

    I love barter...Traded Honda for a Kia.

That's what I was thinking. Even manual windows. That car is bullet proof. A modern car wouldn't survive this. Fill it with HPL and it will drive for 300k miles.

    2025 Toyota Crown Signia Hybrid

Car looks nice, but like a lot of modern cars there is not a lot of glass, and visibility looks poor. I don't know about you, but for me it's a factor when buying new cars.

Castrol Edge 20,000 mile drain interval

Even if its only marketing I'm glad Castrol is educating the public about OCIs I might even forgive them for making fake synthetic

Has anyone gone 20K miles with testing?

I re-watched the video. Too bad the Mobil 1 engineer didn't comment about the presence of lead in the UOA.
