Hey nice to see someone with a similar car. In the short amount of time I've had my car (5 months), I'd actually say for these motors that 4L makeup oil seems about right. I seem to lose oil faster than any of the other cars I've had. I haven't tried to diag it yet (probably this summer). I'm...

First real snow of the year in Akron Ohio

It's definitely been an easy winter by Northeast Ohio standards. I'm definitely loving 4WD on the Galant, and Michelin X-ice 2s.

Pulled the trigger on some. Michelin xice xi2's

rand- how do you like these tires so far (if you've driven)? i was thinking about picking some up for my galant (also awd). what part of neo are you in? i ask since snowfall is widely spread whether you're in the snowbelt or not. i'm on the east side of cleveland in south euclid.

    Mobil 5w50 SN VOA

WOOT!!! Thanks Matt for this. I'm now satisfied with running my 50/50 mix of M1 SN 0w40 and 5w50. I also don't feel too bad now driving to Petroalliance to pick up my case now either. I was feeling a bit crazy, but seeing as you came up from Akron I don't feel too bad. I'm in Shaker.

    Considering a 2002 Cavalier Sedan...

recently had a '00 cavalier with 2.2L and 3sp. and boy was it a dog, but it was reliable for the most part. odd things i replaced was the fuel pressure regulator (was hard starting). do the fuel filter if you can, it gets pretty rusty back there. also check the power steering lines that drop...
