What are you working on today?

I actually enjoy cruising in my beater 2002 Sunfire, nothing fancy but it's nimble and I can reach the passenger window crank to really get that climate control going. I think the homeless, weirdos, walkers, scrouts, shtties and rubbies feel sorry for me as I drive by.

What are you working on today?

@D60 that's exactly right. I had a friend that lost some plugs in his 2V. He too spoke very highly of ford. We have a 2v 5.4 in a 1999 F250 at my wife's work. It had some decent engineering that allowed things to be fixed easily. Too bad it doesn't have the power to go fast enough to...

What are you working on today?

Not much since it's been raining all night and day. Took the Mach e to town for lunch and when we got home, I went to charge it. Well the charge door won't open. The stupid push latch wont release. It would periodically stick here and there but today was the day. No way to bypass this...

What are you working on today?

Finished up on the 3 horse(for the time being). Cleaned the 7 pin connector, which had a bunch of gunk and corrosion. Three of four brakes work decently now. I dug into the wiring but could not find the ground. If the rain doesn't start soon, I will continue work on the 6 horse.

What are you working on today?

No pictures but did some overall maintenance and inspection on the brakes for our new to us Featherlite 3 horse bumper pull. They had been a bit weak and yesterday they were nonexistent. Pulled them all apart, did a little bearing repack (grease was good), used some antiseize on the shoe pivot...

What oils are made in Canada?

Yes, Co-op is Western Canadian. Refined right here in Saskatchewan. I never thought much of market availability as it's incredibly easy to find out here on the Prairies.

What are you working on today?

Nothing today. The wildfire smoke rolled in so thick last night. I got up and checked to make sure we weren't on fire. So, I'm back to my day job today and tomorrow. I suppose that paycheque needs to come in.....

What are you doing right now?

Started the last day of the team penning weekend. Up early to do my run, watered cattle (only 100 this go around), tossed a couple square bales to supplement what's left of the rounds and then enjoy some more coffee. I cracked out Shtbox Shelly for the chores. She's a deadly little wagon.

What are you doing right now?

Another team penning weekend. Its hot, I'm tired but hey, I am not at work!! My wife and oldest daughter are almost home, have been gone since early Monday at an Arabian horse show. They did quite well BTW. On a separate note for @AutoMechanic get yourself a government, city, municipal or...

Choosing ATF for 2001 Prism/Corolla Dexron II Transmission

Find the cheapest Dex 3 or 6 you can find and run it. Your car won't care and I highly doubt you or it will ever notice.

Ford recalls over 850,000 cars in the US due to potential fuel pump failure

Didn't ford also have a recall on seatbelts that caught fire? No worries, we could barely get our 5.0 F150s to a speed that required seatbelts on account of their failing cam phasers and oil consumption. The Mach e that I cruise often has some stupid tetras game on the big dumb tablet. It...

What are you working on today?

Well boys, old Brian caught a break with Shtty Blue. I will now name the work I am doing with this car, "Project Dribbly Bastard." So, i called up Napa this morning and had them order up a reman alternator, would arrive next day. There is no way I did not fry the **** thing up. It made...

What are you working on today?

@D60 thats what I would need but ****, can't justify the price yet. Likely I will have to bring in the alternator as a core and get a reman unit. I hate dumping money in, heck this thing doubles in value when I fill it with gas but man I like driving beaters.
