CarMax actually siphons gas out of cars

I'm a road bike guy but I have a bike that was purchased through bikesdirect. I bought it second hand so I don't know how the buying process went but I am very happy with the bike itself.

I had the same thing happen on my civic. After 30 minutes of hardly any bubbles and no fans we decided it was probably good enough. Never had a problem with it.

I would guess that another factor is those "total cost of ownership" calculators at websites like Edmund's and such. It's much easier for somebody to do their research on scheduled maintenance these days. Seeing that there's a $900 service at 100,000 miles isn't going to win that car any points...

I did a drain and fill with Honda MTF about 10 months ago ... too bad there's not an easy way to check the fluid level! It's a hydraulic clutch and probably has 8 year-old brake fluid in there ... I'll have to look into bleeding it.
