Rear differential (RDU) fluid? Amsoil alternative?

People like you clearly have a hard time reading. I already stated in my original post that if I have to use the OEM RDU fluid I will, and based on the replies here that's more than likely what I'll end up doing until a (trigger warning) higher quality compatible fluid is presented.

Rear differential (RDU) fluid? Amsoil alternative?

I can't help you if you didn't want to watch the video. There's clearly a difference between both fluids, and one is clearly inferior. The ignorance in some of these replies is baffling. But hey, I choose to be informed and open minded unlike some. Let me know how that extra virgin works in your...

Rear differential (RDU) fluid? Amsoil alternative?

It doesn't? Did you not read the reply thread? I also wasn't replying to you here lol

Rear differential (RDU) fluid? Amsoil alternative?

I'd rather use a higher quality fluid if applicable. That being said, there's an Amsoil alternative for every fluid on this vehicle with the exception of the RDU. The reason why I won't use the "approved fluid" is because the so called "approved fluid" is of much lesser quality. You can look up...

Rear differential (RDU) fluid? Amsoil alternative?

Greetings, I'm here to inquire about the rear differential (RDU) fluid for a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport Big Bend 1.5L 3-cyl. I'm an Amsoil guy, and I have compiled a list of Amsoil alternative fluids I'll be switching this new Bronco to, the only issue I seem to be having is with the rear...

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

Appreciate everyone for the info! Anyway, my friend made the switch to Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF yesterday, new transmission pan with a drain plug as well. His car is running just fine according to him. I don't expect him to feel a difference, but I know what it felt like the last time I was in...

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

Amsoil updated their Fuel-Efficient ATF specs and removed Mercon ULV and Dexron ULV after they released their own ULV ATF. While the Fuel Efficient can still technically be used, I believe the viscosity was different enough to justify making a separate fluid. Wonder if something similar happened...

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

He's about to reply to you with a dish soap analogy, I can feel it lol

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

It's my dance alias that I ended up using for everything lmao, and before you ask, no, not male stripping 😂

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

Your false equivalency in using dish soap as an analogy versus a product that claims ATF+4 compatibility is quite telling 🤡 last time I checked dish soap doesn't claim ATF+4 compatibility, so not sure why one would use it in the first place 🧐

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

So the question from here is where are the horror stories of using the Multi-Vehicle ATF in ATF+4 applications?

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

I just confirmed his vehicle is out of warranty, so personally I don't see the issue with using Amsoil's Multi-Vehicle ATF, perhaps I'll try the Redline C+ after this round of Amsoil, but again, I've yet to see any horror stories of someone using the Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF in ATF+4...

Amsoil Multi-Vehicle ATF? ATF+4? Debate settled?!

You're quite literally the fear mongerer I didn't want to hear from lol. You're exactly the person I described who hasn't actually tested the product but instead fear mongers based on certs. As far as I'm aware, companies can call a Full Synthetic a Full Synthetic if it's only 25% synthetic, and...
