From what I have read on this site the 20W50 Synpower is a very good oil. I just put it in a sportster 1200 over the weekend. It should be fine for your bike.

I would suggest you find a no silicate antifreeze for your bike. Prestone extended life, the orange is a no silicate antifreeze. Regular DexCool has silicates. The silicates will tear up the water pump on most Honda and possibly other bikes as well. Sometimes is just as easy to buy the pre mixed...

Try engine starting fluid. Just be sure the motor is cool. Spray it on and the oil and the smell will disappear. This works on various things from oil stained clothes to oil spots in the driveway.
