I ordered some Amsoil PI today

Sorry I saw the post that it has been reformulated. I used Pi over a year ago. Supposedly the new stuff is better. Good luck with it. Awaiting your report.

I ordered some Amsoil PI today

Don't expect too much. I like Amsoil's oil but PI isn't much more than a linecard filler. I tried it once in my truck which was fairly new (15k) and one bottle in my fiance's ZX2 with 80k on the odo. A whole lotta nothin' in both instances. Now I use FP3000 in my truck regularly and I give her...

Opinions on FP3000 after extended use?

I didn't see much of a difference in mpg with FP60 either. It did accelerate smoother that's why I kept using it. I bought the FP3000 because I figured if I could get twice or 1.5x as many miles out of a gallon for the same price, why not? The mpg gain has been a bonus. I usually travel 70mpg...

Opinions on FP3000 after extended use?

No, it's a 2005. 4.0 V6, 4x4, 6-spd. Yeah I was pretty amazed myself. That was yesterday morning I believe. It was the first time I checked it in a few weeks.

Opinions on FP3000 after extended use?

I'm seeing 18.5mpg in my Tacoma. Sure the EPA estiamte is 18/20 but this is easily the highest it's been in the two years I've owned this truck. Feels just as smooth as FP60 but I use 1-2oz. less per fill-up and my mpg has gone up from ~17mpg. I'll likely purchase a bottle of FP Plus in a...

    Cleaning AEM Dryflow

I used Woolite on mine. Worked well. Very gentle. That's all I'd be worried about when using dish soap. Too harsh.

    GC on '07 Taco

Use away. The engine sounds and runs great. Here are the UOA results from my 2005 V6. http://theoildrop.server101.com/forums/s...ge=0#Post803752 I can tell you that you will see a drop in mpg. I was getting around 16 mpg regularly for the past 1.5 years. I just started a ARx cycle with 5W-30...

    GC Green 0W-30, 4,916 miles, 05 Tacoma V6 1GR-FE

Color. There's a whole FAQ on it. http://theoildrop.server101.com/forums/s...ge=0#Post711450 Green has pretty much all been snatched up. I still have 12 quarts not including the current fill.

I liked the results from the ASL but the engine was loud as #@$%!. Significantly quieter with GC. No drop in mpg.

I will double check the intake connections again. They do sand and salt the roads in the winter. Mostly sand. The sides of the road can double as beach front property come spring time. Although we haven't had any snow yet this year. So that isn't really a factor in this UOA. This oil ran from...

    FP3000 - Reviews

Then you mean SUPPLY problem. "Supplier problem" implies a problem getting the supplies in order to make FP3000, which is not the case. I don't really think you can call it a supply problem either but whatever. It seems as though they are getting the orders out for their big contracts on time...

    FP3000 - Reviews

Get your story straight. They had a problem allocating enough product for their consumer pre-order sales (BITOG). They had to fulfill their contracts with large bulk customers first. The web orders are apparently a very, very small part of LCD's business.
