    friction modifier

Yes, you will feel it and probably hear it too. I had a'99 and changed the lube with Amsoil and didn't add the modifier. Within a couple of thousand miles it started chattering so I added the modifier and it quit.

First time using orbital buffer 10" autospa

I usually use a terry cloth bonnet for removal but this last time I tried a micro fiber bonnet and it worked well.

First time using orbital buffer 10" autospa

If the buffer vibrates as bad as you say then I'd say it has a problem. I have used various 10" orbital buffers and have not experienced bad vibrations. Presently I have a Harbor Freight model and just used it yesterday on my Honda Ridgeline without issues. It actually runs pretty smooth for a...

    Brake fluid exchange

My '06 Honda Ridgline's manual calls for a flush every three years. My '06 F350's manual does not mention anything. I had both of my vehicles done recently at a shop I trust. First time for both. Less then $90 each. The main reason I let a shop flush them is that the shop can cycle the antilock...

    Need Boat Trailer Bearing Grease

I have been using Amsoil GWR for a number of years and it has done well with one exception. The oil seems to separate out a bit over time and leak out of the boots on my bearing buddys. So I occasionaly have to wipe them out before the oil leaks onto the wheels. I have about 4 tubes left so I'll...

    Favorite Polish/Wax

For my red truck and silver truck I am using Eagle One gel wax. The shine and depth is amazing and it holds up well. The red truck sits out all the time and after six months water still beaded when I washed and waxed it recently. I know it is not an expensive wax but it works fine for me as it...

    Eagle One Gel Carnuba wax

Eagle One got a much higher rating in previous CR tests which made me try it. My vehicles, one red and one silver, both look shiny and water beads even after 3-4 months. The red truck sits out all the time so I am satisfied with the product and no white residue on the trim is a bonus. JMO
