I started using 2 cycle tcw-3 oil today. I had a full tank 38 gallons and put 32 oz in today. Time will tell what it does or not do to fuel mileage. Looking forward to the results!

Picked up some 20W50 Valvoline Syn tonight for 2 bucks a quart at pepboys. I also bought some Valvoline syn. blend for a buck a quart for my "winterization" oil. The manual listed 15W50 and 20W50 as alternatives for the engine. I could not find any SAE 30 syn. oil anywhere today.

GMZ, My 4 Runner is a 2004 Sport Edition, The 1GR-FE is a great engine, powerful, fuel effiecent and has given me some great UOA's. I think I will be using M1 in this engine from here on out.

Well this engine is currently on the rinse phase of auto rx and then its back to M1 T&SUV, M1 EP filter. I think I can go back to 5-6k OCI now. I think the first UOA of Pennzoil Plat was a bad batch or a bad sample.
