Why not try M1 M/C 10W-40? That's the viscosity recommended for my Intruder 1400 V-Twin (altho here in Tidewater VA I run M1 V-Twin year-round) and it would give you a little thinner oil w/o losing m/c syn advantages, whatever they may be.
