2005 Camry 4 cyl 163XXX miles
Out Chevron Supreme 5w-30
In 4 qts Chevron Supreme 5w-30
Champ PH2840 filter
Will go 3000 - 4000 mile OCI
Usually 3 months
Regards,
Scott
I run them on my F150 that sits outside in Minnesota winters.
I want the flow through the media during those long warms ups as soon as possible.
I assume ...right or wrong that the more porous media flows more freely.

Scott
I don't have a lot of filters in storage.
I have 5 vehicles in my "fleet"
Two of each take common filters.... one ... the truck is an outlier.
I buy filters in bulk usually 4 to 6 at a time per type.
I change at 3500 - 4000 OCI.
On two of the vehicles that's every two months aproximately...
Checked some unused filters stored in my garage and noticed a few had some rust on the threads.
My question is; Are they still OK to use?
Thanks,
Scott
Here is the situation.
"New" used car. Want to switch to a dino oil that has excellent cleaning capabilities.
Car was used often in city 10 to 20 mile trips. Oil change schedule was good. Want to use an oil that will help clean motor... just in case there is some deposit build up.
Do not want...

I think Rock Auto acquires the filters from store closings, warehouse closings etc.
Ultra Power is their in-house brand that they use for products like this.
I think the model number listed behind the Ultra Power name is a better indicator of what filter / brand you will get than the photo...
