I run them on my F150 that sits outside in Minnesota winters. I want the flow through the media during those long warms ups as soon as possible. I assume ...right or wrong that the more porous media flows more freely. Regards, Scott

I don't have a lot of filters in storage. I have 5 vehicles in my "fleet" Two of each take common filters.... one ... the truck is an outlier. I buy filters in bulk usually 4 to 6 at a time per type. I change at 3500 - 4000 OCI. On two of the vehicles that's every two months aproximately...

I think Rock Auto acquires the filters from store closings, warehouse closings etc. Ultra Power is their in-house brand that they use for products like this. I think the model number listed behind the Ultra Power name is a better indicator of what filter / brand you will get than the photo...
