As for the Ultimate Detailer its an excellent product! I use it all the time and could be happier, hands down Meguiars best spray detailer. I second Mike's question.

I have a small California car duster... it does in fact work well for the dash and interior. Great for a quick dusting! You still should apply some type of dressing from time to time for the UV protection.

I have been using RainX deicer washer fluid for a month now and have been happy with it, I have yet to see any hazing but if it did I wouldn't be surprised. I does seem to leave a water repellent behind as of yet I have no complaints. I am also using RainX wiper blades.

I have used several clays all work well, only problem I see with using car wash soap and water with clay... the clay tends to fall apart many use water/soap combo I prefer a quik detailer with clay.

Well, I have used many tire dressings. I tend to stay in the Meguiars line some include: All Season Dressing, Gold Class Endurance , Gold Class Endurance High Gloss . I apply these products let it sit for 10 min or so then wipe off the excess with an old towel, this prevents the slinging.

I don't think it will 'diminish' the paint but IMO you should wax/polish a vehicles paint at least once a year to introduce polishing oils back into the paint and add a wax to protect it. It not scientific just my .02
