I have a 2002 F350 7.3 diesel 4x4 and have used the Motor Craft Power Stroke 15w40 with out any complaints. I think it is a quality diesel oil. If I used another brand, I would most likely choose the Delo 15w40.

Doesn't Conoco make the oil for Ford's Power Stroke Diesels?

Hello Everyone Presently in my 2002 F350 7.3 diesel, I am using Motor Craft Power Stroke 15w40. I know there are many other choices, Rotella, Dello, Delvac and so on. I have no complaints with the Motor Craft oil, I am wondering are any of the other choices better choices? Thanks

Just spoke with VW service. He said his dealer ship uses Castrol 5w40 Synthetic. I guess there are other 5w40 synthetic diesel oils as well.

My daugter/son in-law have a 2002 VW TDI diesel, runs great, great milage. I know VW calls for a 5w40 oil, just wondering, is this a synthetic diesel oil. Can the oil be obtained anywhere other than the dealer? Thanks
