    Post your latest oil change

Thanks for replying. I am at ~1,800 miles on mine but running a bypass filter and I don't think my engine is particualry dirty. Thus far, no change in oil color and I intend to run out to 5K miles, then do another run of Valvoline Restore and Protect before going to HPL No VII. 🤞

How did this combination work for you? I am doing the same on a couple F150s but with 5W30.

    Water softeners which is best

I like Clack, nothing wrong with Fleck. In the US, Clack controls purchase so we get to pay the middle man extra $s. I used this company in Ontario and it was much cheaper for me especially given the exchange rate. With the tariff caca now, I have no clue what it would cost me but still may...

    Post your latest oil change

When I was much, much younger, I had a 1987 Eddie Bauer Bronco. I loved that beast and should have never sold it. Glad to see you keeping one of them alive this long!

Amsoil vs HPL; cost difference worth it?

I have selected to use both since they are both site sponsor’s. For me the price difference between AMSOIL Signature Series and No HPL no VII was $1.78/quart. <<<<—- this includes shipping and tax (as applicable) but excludes the amortized cost of prefer pricing at Amsoil factored in. Is one...

    HPL batch numbers

This probably doesn’t help the OP, but the 5 gallon order of 5W30 No VII I received yesterday has a batch number of 25F2302, and the batch number on the EC30 I purchased a month ago also starts with a 25.

    Frantz Install

Ford doesn’t give much room with the 3.5L ecoboost. My son’s V8 has more engine bay space by comparison. What you cannot see is the tight spot where the spin on filter is mounted. If you need to use a wrench in that spot, you need to be creative. Regarding changes, I have enough room...
