Is this a good oil? How does it compare to the more expensive 5-40 Mobil 1 Turbo Diesel Truck Oil? They are both full synthetic.

Wow, I thought Mobil 1 was a very good inexpensive synthetic oil, apparently that is not the case? What would be a better option for a reasonably priced, readily available synthetic oil suitable for the track? Thanks for all the info thus far!

VR1 is not a synthetic oil, I still want extreme temperature protection. They used to sell Synthetic VR1, but I don't see that stuff for sale anymore

Fresh Oil Change Update: Hey Guys, another 500 miles in the books, and it only went through half a quart of oil! AMAZING! When the oil gets real dark I will change it regardless of miles driven. I guess I better stick with the Pennzoil HM & MMO mix on this car for the foreseeable future...
