All of a sudden I'm listening to The Police

I've been on a Dire Straits and Arlo Guthrie run for the last few months. You can't beat the old stuff.

    Autolite double platinum spark plugs?

I'd stick with NGK plugs. They'll last twice as long so they aren't going to cost more in the end.

    Oil seepage question -2013 Ford 3.7 v6

I wouldn't try and retorque the bolts as that would probably make the leak worse. How much oil are you losing between oil changes? Looks like a timing cover leak. I'd clean the area up and keep an eye on it and the oil level to see how much is getting lost. But in my opinion this is about what...

    Planning a Vacation...

We have our Waikiki in winter and Vegas in spring or summer routine going for the last two years. Waikiki and Oahu are great, Sherwood beach park is our favorite beach and the north shore for shrimp trucks. We don't gamble but there's lots to do in Vegas, we saw Rod Stewart and a Golden Knights...

    I hate RockAuto right now

They sent me the wrong tool once, the part numbers were close and I'm guessing the guy filling the order packed in by mistake. They ended up sending me the tool I ordered and never asked for the wrong one to be sent back.

Is there a recommended high mileage / seal additive for transmission & steering fluid?

Top off any low fluids and keep an eye on them. I wouldn't start adding "seal sweller" unless it's more then top it off every now and then at this point.

My gen 1 3.5 Ecoboost; An inauspicious Start

Good to see you're undoing the neglect and getting good results. 4k OCI or less is what these engines need. I'm running M1 0w40 in mine.

Is this tie rod tool useful?

I think it's for unscrewing the outer tie rod from the tie rod sleeve? That's what it looks like to me.

Is this tie rod tool useful?

Heat it up and you won't need to hit it as hard.

Milkshake Oil - Extreme short trips

If it's running well now with fresh oil, then I'd keep an eye on it every two weeks for more milkshake in the oil and wait and see. It's a 1998 so it's propably not worth fixing if it's a head gasket? I wouldn't plan any long trips with it at this point but short trips arn't going to leave you...

What are you watching on tv right now?

Was watching CBC Hockey night in Canada, but I had to turn it off before it ended as my Jets were down 5-0 to Vancouver!
