Thank you for that. I have now seen that stated with certainty on the website you linked to. It is reassuring. Of the two products mentioned, Permatex is more available to me in Australia, but I will look into both more carefully.

Worrying about having to replace fouled spark plugs on the F&R bank of a transverse V6, AND the oxygen sensor is not "over the top".
