Did he have stability control turned off?

Most stability control programs include traction control.

    Stinky Floor Mat

Are you sure that's not how the rubber smells? FWIW I would never use rubber backed mats. They trap any moisture under them and eventually rust out the floor.

    Sealant For Leaking Windshield

Kinda doubt that's cost effective on a 1998 vehicle. $1,000+ for cutting out rust and restoring to new. Few people carry comp and collision on older vehicles.

    Old RV gas mileage

Those twin rear wheels are cool but assume they aren't duallies and only one is a driven axle. Sold my '88 Southwind last spring after owning 8 years and putting little more than 100 miles on it. Most of that, driving it back and forth to an inspection station for the buyer. It had a 454 which...

    Sealant For Leaking Windshield

Silicone is for sealing bathroom tiles. If you want it to last, use the same stuff they use when installing the windshield. Urethane...

Thinking about another corolla diesel does 21 mpg

Thinking about another corolla diesel does 21 mpg

OP's picture is of a BALL bearing.

    Help identifying bearing

If it's a wheel bearing, I don't think they used ball bearings since the 60's.

    2004 (New Style) F150 5.4 3V Plug Change

Thing barely ran when I picked it up back then. Cam phasers I suspect, from the codes that were stored. Naw, just that pre-pandemic, I kept buying stuff that seemed too good to pass up. After the auctions shut down, I have more time to get them done and sold without adding more. It's an...
