My work truck is a 2.7 ecoboost, I love the truck and hate the stop start feature. I have every intention of performing the above mentioned stop start delete. I thought it wouldn't bother me at first but after six months of turning it on and off I've had it.

I picked up some of the havoline ds that orilleys had on clearance. 2 out of seven jugs were opened. I suspect that someone put conventional in them, they are both the same level and both a quarter inch lower than the other five jugs. Clearance stuff cannot be returned.

My wife's car is a 2013 Tahoe and it uses around the same amount of oil. About 3/4 of a quart for every 1000 miles or so. We purchased it with 15,000 miles on it. My wife drives like an old lady, I almost think the way she drives keeps it in 4 cylinder mode all the time causing it to burn oil...
