that is interesting, maybe because its thicker and reduces engine wear better? this affects fuel economy but engine will have longer life?

its manual, for heavy duty, i carry some heavy stuff for business, regarding other fluids i checked their level and they are fine, i was told other fluid does not need replacement just need to check levels, regarding my question i am just worried that current oil might harm dpf, i dont believe...

mb recommendation on this one is 5w30, but 10w40 is thick oil and i was told that using thinner oil like 5w30 after thick oil is not a good idea, it will eat up that oil because engine is already formed to work on thick oil

i will need to fill 10w40 again because engine was used to that oil from the beginning when it was new, the first fill was shell rimula https://www.shell.com/motorist/oils...-duty-engine-oil/shell-rimula-r6-lm.html now it has 170k miles, can you recommend any good oil of this grade?

Hi guys, i have a sprinter 310, 2.2 cdi, year 2009, i decided to change an oil, previous owner used 10w40 and decided to continue using that one, i filled WAVE POWER SL 10W-40, then i read that this oil is not suitable for vehicles with DPF and now i dont know what to do, should i change it or...
