    I have been looking at older Fords and GM cars. Most have pans without drain plugs. If and when l get one, my plan was to change the filter and pan (with a drain plug) and do spill and fills every 30k. Then maybe every 100 to 150k change the filter.

    Is there a reason why you prefer woolwax over fluid film/surface shield?

    Fusions are prone to rust in the wells and rockers right? My approach has been to fix the easy stuff, removing the rust and doing crappy primer and touch up. If it is more advanced or a beater, and l don't care about the looks then l spray fluid film directly on it.
