I see HP17 does not have the screen over bypass.

The rear bank is the problem as the oil pools due to the angle. The updated valve cover uses a screw in PCV valve versus the push in style with grommet.

Looks good the only thing I don't like is the cheese grater center tube.

The weight of the filter is 260 grams which is unimpressive.

This filter is the bee's knees, the filter will shed its own skin. When the sticker falls off it is time for an oil change.

The red stuff on the threads is super snake venom it attacks deposits.

The sticker snake on the can obviously adds more torque to the car. That is why the price is to the moon. I don't make enough to cut this one open but wholesale is around $15-16

This one is another M20 1.5 all the applications listed are Subaru's. I have never seen holes on the bottom that are covered by the leaf spring. Also another strange thing is it has no anti-drainback flap.

Mann+Hummel as far as I know bought out Dongwoo which makes the OEM Hyundai/Kia filters. I would not touch that black COC (can of [censored]) filter.

Instead of getting the Cadillac of oil filters someone gave you a Daewoo.

Maybe you got one from their tier 2 supplier. We sell them to our local Kia dealers and they only buy true OEM parts.

The media is thick it almost seemed like it was two ply. Not only did it smell good unlike the Chinese ones which smell like oil. I was able to easily blow through the media. The can thickness and seam on the base plate are thick. One of the cases on the pallet had some damage. The filter box...
